Story
Our world was turned upside down when our little boy Bowie fell ill earlier this year. It started with a misdiagnosis of tonsillitis, but it quickly became clear that something more serious was going on. Watching our child struggle to breathe was one of the most terrifying experiences of our lives. We felt completely helpless and could only hope that the doctors could help him. Bowie's condition was so severe that he had to be transferred to Addenbrookes intensive care unit, where he was put into an induced coma and placed on life support. We were desperate for anything that could help save our son. Thanks to the incredible work of the PANDR team and the doctors who cared for Bowie, he is now doing well and looking forward to cheering me on as I run the 2023 London Marathon to support their lifesaving work. Bowie's diagnosis of bronchiolitis was a terrifying experience, but we were grateful for the amazing teams at both our local hospital and Addenbrookes who worked tirelessly to save him. Please consider supporting me as I run to support their vital work.
