So for a number of years now I've always boasted about how I'm going to do a run in memory of Matt, and for a number of years I've had some pathetic excuse not to. Well this year I've manned up and actually entered the Lincoln 10K. Oh yeah and the great north run. but that's later. 

I knew Matt from when I was little and he was my best friend. At the age of 17 Matt was diagnosed with brain cancer. For two years he fought, completing a levels despite undergoing chemo and radiotherapy and getting on a Oncology course at Cardiff Uni, with the aim of helping others fight cancer, before passing away in January 2011. He inspires me still to this day and the work that TCT did was invaluable to Matt, his family mad his friends So it's about time I got off my arse and do something that requires a bit of effort! Dig deep, like I know you can and help improve the lives of young people with cancer!
