Chris's 100 for Havens Hospices

'30 in 30' for Havens Hospices · 11 May 2020 ·
Havens Hospices are asking people to get involved in their first ever Virtual Event, the 30 in 30 Challenge. In 30 days can you walk, run, cycle or even skip 30 miles for Havens Hospices? You may ask, why 30 miles? That's how far on average one of their Hospice at Home Nursing Assistants will travel in a day to deliver care to their patients in the community. The need for their hospice services never stops, so neither can their fundraising. Even during the Coronavirus outbreak, their patients need and deserve quality care at the end of their life. Taking part in their 30 in 30 challenge will help this to continue. When an adult or child has been diagnosed with a complex or incurable condition, Havens Hospices can provide the care they need,
But...you know me - got to try and go one better so I've pledged to run 100 miles between 1st May and 14th June and on that day, when I was supposed to take part in the Southend Half which has unfortunately has been cancelled, I'll run a Half Marathon from home, obviously observing any social distancing rules still in place.
Any support or donations you can give will be greatly appreciated by myself and Havens Hospices - thank you! X
