Event: Velo Birmingham & Midlands 2019, on 12 May 2019
Vélo Birmingham & Midlands (formerly Vélo Birmingham) is returning on Sunday May 12th 2019, on International Nurses Day, with an epic new 100 mile closed road route & as an official charity partner Cure Leukaemia is set to have a big team once again!

Story

On 12th May 2019 I will be taking part in the Birmingham Velo which is a cycle ride of 100 miles in a day!!

I am raising money for Cure Leukemia.  The charity was established in 2003 by Professor Charlie Craddock, CBE and patients Graham Silk and Michael Wooley to allow patients with blood cancer in our region to access the new treatments that were then becoming more available.  In recent years it’s been supported by well known sports people, Geoff Thomas (ex Wolves), Ben Foster (ex WBA), Darren Moore (ex WBA) and now me! (cough cough!).

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and a BIG THANK YOU in advance for any sponsorship you make.  It means a lot and it also means I can’t back out which I have considered several times as I seem to be finding it hard at my age to be able to stay upright on two wheels!!
