I am going to be competing in Yorkshires 15k Tough Mudder for The Children's Hospital Charity. 

Tough Mudder takes places over a 15k course with 30 obstacles which include names such as “Mudderhorn” “Mudmile” & “leap of faith” - by no means a casual stroll in the park and a play on the swings. 

Children and young people visit Sheffield Children’s hospital with every condition imaginable. Every day its doctors and nurses treat children with ground-breaking medical advancements.

Sheffield Children’s Hospital is an extraordinary place which has always depended on charitable support; you can make a difference every day to the thousands of children and their families that visit.

Your donation will go towards buying life-saving equipment, fund vital research and treatment for thousands of children from across the world and helping them create a comfortable and engaging environment

The charity currently fund, four key areas that your donation will support:

• Critical research into the prevention and cure of childhood diseases 
• New facilities to extend the available of treatment to patients 
• Improvements to the hospital environment to benefit patients, families and visitors
• Specialist medical equipment 

15k will not be an easy feat for me, let alone the 30 obstacles but there is no greater motivation than such a great cause.
