Having both relatives and good friends with disabled children, I understand and know how important it is for disabled children to have the right mobility equipment to help improve their and their parents quality of life.  This is very difficult to achieve for children and parents of poor families in view of the high cost of the mobility equipment. Mobility equipment for a disabled child costs on average in excess of £5,000.
