Leah's Challenge for Christian Aid · 5 May 2020

Love never fails. Even in the darkest moments, love brings hope. Raising money through one of our lockdown fundraisers will help us support families facing poverty and injustice around the world, which is more important now than ever.

Story

We have seen how the spread of coronavirus has affected us here, and we know that many countries in the developing world will not be able to cope under similar pressure. Regular hand-washing and social distancing are not possible when you live in a refugee camp or a shanty town, and there are fewer ICU beds and ventilators available if you do become sick.

Christian Aid Week 2020 has been affected by lockdown restrictions, but Christian Aid needs our support now more than ever.

Over five days starting Monday 11th May, I will complete 10,000 repetitions with a Bulgarian bag to raise funds and awareness for their work with some of the world's poorest people. That means 2,000 reps over 10 different exercises everyday!

It's easy to feel helpless during lockdown, but it's important to stay positive, stay active and keep helping others. Please donate what you can today, so that we can keep saving lives tomorrow.
