London to Brighton Bike Ride 2025

London to Brighton Bike Ride 2025 · 15 June 2025 ·
On Father’s Day this year I’ll be taking part in the BHF London to Brighton cycle ride with the aim of raising money for this great charity.
10 years ago today I lost my dad to a heart attack aged just 57. In the last 10 years a huge amount has changed in my life which he’s missed out on: I’ve met the most amazing fiancée, got an amazing dog called Polly which I know he’s of loved, bought our first house, passed my A levels; undergrad and got a masters, worked for Savills (he always said I would) and CBRE and owned more cars than he’d probably have approved of. 10 years ago I probably wouldn’t have believed that I could achieve all those things - but he always said life is not a rehearsal something that’s stuck with me over the years and given me the strength to move forward. Something I’m hoping will help get me up Ditchling Beacon!
I wanted to do something to mark this moment and what better way than to take part in this event raising money for British Heart Foundation. My story isn’t rare - heart disease is responsible for a death every 3 minutes. If you can I’d be hugely grateful of any donations.
The BHF fund around £100 million of research each year into all heart and circulatory diseases and the things that cause them. Heart diseases. Stroke. Vascular dementia. Diabetes. They're all connected, and they're all under our microscope.
Thousands of people every year are helped through the research we do. Research funded by everyday people, like you.
Every donation you make helps fund scientific breakthroughs. Fundraise for the BHF and help us turn science fiction into reality.
