Story

This November, I’m walking 90 Miles for a cause that’s close to my heart. 💙🧡

As meany of you now on November the 6th 2025 my baby girls life changed for ever we was rushed into addenbrokes hospital with her little body packing up my baby was slipping away deteriorating hour by hour she was in agony screaming in pain everything she would eat she would cry in pain her legs was making her scream out in pain and she was skin and bones my dad came in the bedroom hearing her cry’s enough is enough we have to get this child to hospital she’s seriously seriously ill within minutes of arriving to the hospital she’s was taken to high independence ward with security at the doors me and my mum was saying how she allways been small and not a big eater and her iron levels get low and we heard the words no aleshia life is in danger and she is a very unwell person and then words will haunt me forever my baby my princess life was in danger and she was crying she allways hated germs and allways hated hospitals having so meany blood test over the years she said why am I hear there take there blood test bruise me and send me home so take me home now mum please I want to go home the dr said no Aleshia you are in a critical condition and a very very poorly girl and I do not know how you are still awake and not in a dka coma the night she was diagnosed the week we was in hospital and the 7 week we spent in that ward being trained up to save my baby’s life on a daily basis will never be forgotten I thank god and pray with thanks that the nurse Sean that checked her in A&E in addenbrokes that night was a diabetic himself and he knew aleshia fighting me was infact her angry high and the diabetes team and Aleshia’s nurse nazia that stood by us and supported us for the month ahead she use to have me wheel Aleshia in with her pj in Matthew pushchair mum driving us me pinning her down or carry her in kicking and punching me because she was refusing her needles or the days she would not have lunch because she was on the phone to me on the wardrobe floor while I cried to her with what do I do to keep Aleshia awake and at a safe level I will allways be thankful

But to give a little back to the charity that saves my baby life on a daily basis

I’ll be taking on 90 Miles over the month to raise money for Diabetes UK and help support the 6 million people living with and affected by diabetes. 🧣 my baby girl being my forever reason to give all I can and do I all I can for this charity

I’d really appreciate your support. Whether it’s 50p £5, £10 or £100, every donation adds up and can help make a real difference. Or share my story in hope the next person can

If you’re able to donate, thank you, your support means a lot to me and will help keep me going every mile of the way. 🧡

Thank you for being part of my journey! 💙
