In May 2022, Chris, (aka Michael's dad and Clare's brother), was diagnosed with a rare and chronic form of leukemia. 

We are incredibly grateful that a new Christie site had opened in our hometown of Macclesfield in December 2021. They have given incredible support and treatment to Chris so far and we would like to support them so that other patients and families can benefit from their care too. 

As a chronic form of leukemia, Chris will likely need treatment for life. We are aiming to raise £750, which equates to £1 for each person diagnosed with CML in the UK each year, on average.
