Ben Nevis Midnight Challenge 2015 · 19 June 2015 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

I am taking part in this challenge in memory of my husband and partner of 35 years George Blyth.  I would like to thank Alzheimer’s Scotland for their support to both George and myself throughout our struggle against this disease.  George was diagnosed with FTD (Frontal Temporal Dementia) in his early 50's, this disease reduced a vibrant, healthy and sharp witted man to a shell that no longer resembled the man he was. Please help by donating towards this worthy cause and help lead the fight against Dementia.   This disease can strike anyone at any age; it is not just a disease of the elderly!
