Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Our family was suddenly affected by cancer in 2018. Sadly my Dad passed away in November, we also lost my Nanna earlier in the year. My Dad spent a lot of time at The Christie, the staff were amazing support during this time so this year for 24 Hour Game Heroes we are raising money for The Christie.
Our 24 hours of gaming will mostly be on Xbox and will be streamed on Mixer, please join us on the day to see how the team is doing https://mixer.com/team/TGGT
This year my daughter, Abigail, will also be joining the team. Due to losing her Dad at 6 years old (she is now 13) she has been a tremendous help and support for myself this last year, she has helped me understand how she dealt with her own loss from her own experience. She will be taking part in our gaming goals too, more to come on those later!
24 Hour Game Heroes was established by Macmillan Cancer Support, getting together with other gamers and friends to support each other in raising money for any charity that is close to our hearts. Last year we raised over £1300 for Macmillian, with your help we hope to at least match this for The Christie.
