Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.
Since my daughter Victoria passed away my heart and my world have been broken. No one can tell you how it feels to lose someone you love so much. I haven't really known what to do with myself I have just been trying to get through each day. It is my 70th birthay this year so I have decided to do something positive in Victorias memory - the challenge of walking the 'love heart walk' - 40 miles in 7 days.
My aim is to raise enough money to refurbish a room at the hospice that took such beautiful care of her when she was poorly. It costs £6000 to update one room which includes adding double doors out to the garden meaning patients can spend time outside which Victoria would have loved. It would be so nice if we could provide this for someone else.
I am not very good at walking as my lungs don't work as well as they should but I have bought new shoes and am determined to do it. Please sponsor me and send any memories you have of Victoria or any stories about Pendleside Hospice and how it has helped you x
