A bit about Savana:

Savana provide help and support for anyone, from the age of 4 and upwards who have experienced any form of sexual violence whether recently or in the past. This includes rape, sexual assault, domestic violence, 'honour' related violence and childhood sexual abuse. We have seen reports that abuse has risen threefold worldwide and we are seeing that in the rise in demand for our service.Whilst we are worried about our ever growing waiting list we are more concerned about how many people are now desperately needed our help and support and how now more than ever, it is vital we get them the help they need as quickly as possible.£2000 will enable us to offer an additional 100 counselling sessions - free of charge to the cleints. With this money we will be better equipt to meet the rise in demand for our service and will be able to get people the vital support they need more efficiently.
