During 2018 TDS Midlands has been supporting FSL a local Wellingborough based charity. FSL support children and family members of addicts of drugs or alcohol. Support is available to the addicts themselves however there is often no help or support to the children or other family members. Children suffer particularly seeing a parent while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. They are vulnerable as well to siblings who get them to help cover for them and often this can lead to them becoming involved as well.

FSL ensure that they have someone to talk to and provide support on making them realise they are important as well. Putting in place strategies to ensure they are safe and giving them a sense of importance. 

We have already provided members of staff to help during family days and this Christmas we have donated the money we would normally spend on Christmas cards to the charity and we ask you to do the same.
