DEAR FRIENDS,
On the 1st day of Christmas, my true love gave to me....
Usually at this time of year, we are in the throes of preparing for hundreds of young people descending upon Newbridge College on free buses, for some festive fun!! Due to Covid-19 this year tells a different story, or does it? The original advent story….the very reason why we all gather together, was a humble one. The Little Christ Child is coming, no matter what the circumstances and Youth 2000 wants to continue to ‘Prepare the way of the Lord’ through a unique online experience so that Young people everywhere will truly see that “His glory fills the earth” (Psalm 72:19)
We need your help! While we may not be raising funds to fill seats on buses, we will still have significant administrative, logistic and editing expenses to cover. Also, as a result of the success of our Summer E-Festival campaign, another large scale promotion on all social media
platforms is planned. Your generosity proves that you believe in young people leading other young people to the Heart of the Church. Your donations continue to change lives and give our young volunteers a platform to spread the Gospel more effectively! Thank you!
Christ is the Heart of Christmas, He is our true love and all young people ache to believe in Him though often they know it not! This Advent, allow Youth 2000 (albeit virtually) to show their
peers that He is indeed the Son of God! Help us to bring them to the crib...the cross...the tabernacle!
Please give a young person a REAL GIFT this Christmas, Jesus.
