Story
Picture the scene... a flannel shirt, a grumpy guy with a heart of gold, and a festive montage involving every baked good known to man.
You're a stressed city executive with the chance of a big promotion, but you've got to dog-sit for your eccentric Uncle who strangely resembles Santa.
Back in small town life with a broken down car, a local cafe facing closure, a Christmas Tree Festival...
It's all too easy to get drawn into the festive fantasy of a Christmas TV movie. But why not take the opportunity to spot the cliches and raise money to help people facing debt this festive season?
How to take part:
1. Choose your movie - it really doesn't matter which channel or platform. They're everywhere! Netflix, Hallmark, Lifetime, Channel 5...
2. Print yourself some Cliche Christmas or Hallmark Christmas bingo cards (or grab some paper or a digital note app and the bingo card file). I'll share a great example here, and others in comments elsewhere: https://www.jessicajonesdesign.com/hallmark-christmas-movie-bingo/
4. Get some snacks. Very important. You'll need the energy.
5. Start your movie and keep watching for the cliche bingo moments to check them off!
6. Enjoy your 'Festive Countryside Enchanted Cheesy Christmas To Remember'!
7 . After you're done, total up the bingo spaces you checked off and make a donation for each one. Could be £1 per space, or something else. Whatever works for you!
