Story
Thank you for visiting our page! The reception boys are taking part in a Christmas Fun Walk (or cycle) to raise funds for Mukti. They are very excited to be taking part and we are all extremely grateful for any donations that are given to this wonderful cause. The trails will take place in a location of choice before Christmas!
A big thank you to our reception boys and families that are getting involved including - Sam, Kiaan, Aarav D, Rhys, Tahia, Kian S, Aarav B, Tavas, Reuben, Anay. They will be raising funds for kids who don't have it all but who inspire us with their bravery and compassion.
For a number of years the Mukti Project (run by the Traditional Yoga Association) has raised funds for varying projects in India and the UK. Most of the funding goes to India and in the past they have supported on-site schools for the children of bonded labourers, a home for battered women and homes for street children. Currently the Mukti Project are sending annual grants to two projects in India: Karm Marg, a home for street children where they themselves have created a family and a business to assist in the upkeep of their home and Naz, a home for abandoned children who are HIV positive or who have AIDS. In the UK the charity make annual grants to Launchpad in Reading and Centrepoint in London For more information about Mukti, please go to www.TraditionalYoga.org/Mukti
