London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·

St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides tailored end of life care both in the community and at our Hospice, supporting our patients living with a terminal illness, and their family and friends. We rely on the generous support of our community to raise the £8million we need each year to fund our services.

Story

We sadly lost my Dad (Brian Hardy) on 10th February 2021 after his battle with Leukaemia. I will be running the London Marathon 2022 in his memory and to support St Wilfred's hospice.

The hospice supported him and the family so much in his last weeks and allowed him to stay at home with his family surrounding him when he peacefully passed away in the morning.

A larger than life character who touched so many lives and will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

To be able to support St Wilfred's Hospice with their fundraising to allow to them to support other families like they did mine is something I am keen to do to the best of my ability.

Your support is gratefully appreciated.

Thank you.
