The Lloyd's and City of London Branch Royal British Legion raises funds to help those in need, who are currently serving or have served in the British Armed Forces. Each year we coordinate London Poppy Day. We are the custodians of remembrance in the Lloyd's and City of London community.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

100 Years ago, on the morning of the 22nd August 1914, the first shots of the Great War were fired between British and German troops.  A group of former forces personnel and friends from the from the Lloyd's and City of London Branch RBL will mark the passing of this historic moment by cycling to Casteau in Belgium where the first shots were fired.  We will remember those who fell, and bring the story back to The City of London.

Along the way we're going to raise money for the Lloyd's and City of London Branch of the Royal British Legion.  Our branch donates to serving and former service personnel who deserve our support.
