Story
Some of you may know that Frances & I had our first 'date' Christian Aid collecting! I have walked & run to make a difference through Christian Aid on a number of occasions since.
This year my work at the Anglican Communion Office makes me painfully aware of how the poorest are beginning to suffer most from the physical & economic impacts of Coronavirus. At the same time Christian Aid Week collections are difficult: the funding of good, life changing & life-saving work is under threat. I want to encourage even greater generosity amongst my Church, community, colleagues & friends in 2020 by tackling this 63 mile challenge. I pray my knees hold up!
Your giving will make a difference & show pactical love to those in greatest need. Coronavirus impacts all of us. But it impacts our global neighbours even more: day labourers without income or food; those living in slums & without basic sanitation or healthcare. By sponsoring me & giving to Christian Aid Week you can reach out and protect more of our neighbours today. For over 70 years, Christian Aid has been standing with the poorest of our neighbours, with people of all faiths and none, to stand up for dignity, equality and justice. Let's stand together with our neighbours near and far.
