In 2023 I was very poorly, in a lot of pain and being sick so was taken to Broadford hospital. I had a suspected appendicitis and was getting worse, I was unresponsive to the doctors when they were running tests. It was quickly decided that I needed to be airlifted to Raigmore hospital as this was the quickest and most comfortable way for me to get there. Without the helicopter it would have been really painful and taken a long time. I was flown by Helimed but want to help raise money for this charity as they help so many people.
