My nephew Tom died in action in Afghanistan 20th Nov 2011 doing a job he loved. His mates in his platoon are still there. I want to support them ,to show them we care. So I have decided to cycle the Dragon Ride in South Wales to raise sponsorship for Help the Heroes.

I have ridden the shorter route before but this will be the first time riding the full route of 206kms It should take me between 8 to 9 hours. Its a tough old ride but then it would,nt be worth it if it was easy.Its gonna take me a few months to get up to fitness. So lets hope the winter ain't gonna be too bad
