Story
Nearly four years ago, we were blessed with the arrival of our twin girls. Prior to their arrival, it was an unnerving time, especially heading into the third trimester, not knowing what lay ahead, and the possibility that one or both of our babies might need the support of a NICU (newborn intensive care unit). Our little ladies were born at 37.5 weeks so we were incredibly lucky. However, many do need NICU support. Below is a little paragraph about the INHA and I hope I can raise some much needed funds to help premature babies and their families. Thank you so much for any small amount that you can contribute.
INHA is the only Irish charity that supports families affected by premature birth - families of babies born too soon, too small and too sick to face the busyness of the world. We give the voice to these families through our educational, advocacy and research work, we support the families and NICUs themselves and promote awareness of the long term impact of prematurity. We campaign for the inclusion of parents and the family centered care to be the standard in the NICU units based on research that is scientifically proven and HCPs backed.
