Streetlife is a small charity that supports vulnerable, and often homeless young people aged 16-25 in Blackpool. We provide emergency accommodation and a wide range of practical and emotional support from our night shelter and day centre. Join our £5 monthly donation supporters to help!

Story

My sister, Cicely, tragically died recently, aged 16.

Cicely would never walk past a homeless person without giving them any change she had or any food she had on her (often the Greggs pasty she had just bought but never got round to eating...)

We have decided that as an alternative to flowers as a commemoration we would like to raise money for Streetlifea fantastic Blackpool-based charity which supports homeless people under the age of 26.

Streetlife also accept donations of clothing, food and toiletries - if you would like to help out more with an issue which is so serious locally, you can find out more here: http://www.wearestreetlife.org/about/

(For those of you unfamiliar with JustGiving: donating through them is secure and straightforward. They will send the money raised to Streetlife directly, which saves time and cuts costs for the charity. They will protect your details and won't spam you with unwanted emails.

If you are a UK taxpayer, don't forget to opt in for GiftAid, which, at no added cost to you, provides the charity with 25p extra for every £1 you give).

Thank you,

Grace, Ian & Beverley Cook
