BCHC Charity is the official charity supporting Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS FT. Funding equipment, research and facilities not part of core NHS services. Your support helps us provide the 'extras' that bring a smile to patients who access our services and enhance their experience.

Story

On Saturday 13th April 2019, staff from the Children in Care Team will be partaking in the 'Wolf Run'.

The Wolf Run is ''Wild Running'' - a unique combination of three kinds of off-road running: mud runs, trail runs and obstacle runs, it’s a hardcore 10k run across raw natural terrain, including open ground, woodland, lakes & thick mud.

The team will tackle a series of tough obstacles - both man-made and natural - designed to test our mental & physical strength, skill and stamina. We will run, climb, jump, wade, crawl and swim through a course designed to challenge you on every level. All staff have paid for the run themselves, a small donation was made from the Trust Charity which will be paid back from donations.

All  donations will go direct to the Children in Care Charity fund, this will help to fund projects, activity days i.e. garden parties, and pay for Christmas Presents for the children and young people!
