The homeless community in Utah is at particularly high risk for COVID-19 infection. As a member of the Fourth Street Clinic’s Corporate Advisory Council, we work to help support the Clinic, a Clinic specifically dedicated to the homeless in Utah, in its mission to provide quality primary care to its homeless patients.  COVID-19 has presented new challenges to the Clinic and its staff.  In support of that, Council members have each committed to raising $2,500 to help pay for the COVID tests, laboratory analysis, protective clothing for our medical staff and essential equipment needed to isolate and protect both our staff and patients.  I am reaching out to you, my friends and colleagues, to join me and to help to reach this goal.  Your donation of support, in any amount, will provide these essential elements to carry forward our COVID-19 work with our homeless clients in Utah.  Thank you for your consideration and support.

The Clinic is hosting a series of informational discussions with local experts on COVID-19 and Homelessness and Mental Health and Homelessness.  I hope you will join us in August to learning more about homelessness in Utah and these specific challenges to the homeless community.  I will be in touch with you on the details.
