I have chosen to support Wai Yin Society, which aims to challenge all forms of discrimination and social exclusion through the provision of diverse and reactive services for ethnic minority groups in Manchester, including Chinese, south east Asians and many European nationalities. 

At the same time, I am doing this in celebration of my 50th birthday, and also in memory of a very special friend - an outstanding Chinese woman. She passed away a year ago, but her memory and Spirit live on.
