“Walk for Wag” at Kielder · 28 September 2019 ·
From chasing money to giving it away all for a doggie cause. Cirque de sore legs team have committed ourselves with our four legged friends, Baxter, Blue, Minnie and Snowie to a 10 K sponsored walk around Kielder for “Walk for Wag” an amazing charity called Wag & Co. which provides four legged visits to elderly people who may have no contact with the outside world. Our doggie friends are very wagcited to be taking part and wuff love your support by making a small donation to help the lonely get a fourlegged visit.
Walking for Wag enables our special visits, elderly people to have friends with two and with four legs when previously many of them had no-one. Take our great friend John Robson, pictured above cuddling a police puppy at last year's Walk for Wag. After he lost his dog and his wife he found himself staring at four walls, he told us: "At the beginning of the year I had nothing and now I have a wonderful relationship with these lovely friends and my life has completely changed. I do get lonely living on my own and I couldn't manage to have a dog of my own now. This is the best of both worlds. It's fantastic, like winning the Pools!" Wag & Company safely and professionally provides this service for John and many others like him, but with no guaranteed income your donations and sponsorship and really what makes it happen. We couldn't do it without you.
