Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

For one night this October Donald, Andrew, Jamal, Mark, Paul, Tony, Stephen, Damian and Michael will go cold, wet and hungry to raise funds for Action for Children.

For us, it will be just one night, but for 75,000 young people aged under 25 this is a reality every single night of the year and that’s why we are asking you to sponsor us to take part.

The event, Byte Night, which takes place on 2 October will see us and over 350 other professionals spend a night uncovered and exposed to the elements in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh. Together we are aiming to raise £500,000 to help Action for Children prevent youth homelessness and get thousands of young people off the streets and into secure accommodation with education and training opportunities.

This year, even more than previous years, we need your help. During this economic downturn charities like Action for Children are facing the greater challenge of reduced income coupled with increased demand for their services. You really can make a difference.

A donation of just £25 today could keep the doors of one of Action for Children’s youth homelessness projects open for one hour, helping them reach out to children who are homeless now or at risk of becoming homeless.
