Sometimes it is the small things that can have the biggest impact. One class can change a life, so I am raising money for the City Lit Bursary and Student fund to makes sure no one has to forego a new future because of financial difficulties. Recently, the Fund has helped someone who was homeless qualify for entrance to university; supported a single mum as she embarked on a new career and helped a carer with expenses so he could be confident his parents were looked after while he was at class. These are just a few of the many people who have needed a bit of assistance. City Lit is celebrating a century of education in 2019, and, I want to be one of the 100 new supporters making sure that support from Bursary and Student Fund is there when people need it most.
