There 253 million people in the world who are blind or visually impaired, 75% have conditions that are preventable or treatable. We screen for and treat eye conditions, raise awareness about eye health, and train and mentor local eye care teams

Story

 

As an eye specialist, I have been on missions to Bangladesh and Myanmar to help with Orbis's mission of helping to eradicate blindness in developing countries. I am convinced of the organisations methods and hope you will assist their ongoing efforts through your generosity.

As an incentive, every donation of £25 will secure 1 raffle ticket, with the prize being an opportunity to see England take on Sri-lanka at Lords or the Cydesdale Bank 40 Final at Lords with pairs of the finest GrandStand tickets giving stunning views from high up of all the cricket action.
