RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Last year was a difficult one for everyone, enduring lock downs due to the pandemic and interrupting our daily lives, yet your local Lifeboat station in Clacton-on-Sea continues to be available 24/7, 365 days a year to help anyone who may be in trouble in and around the water.

As a charity, the RNLI depends on donations so it can go on saving lives and keeping us and our loved ones safe. Your local community crew of RNLI lifesavers are our lifeline. They’re the lifeboat crews who provide 24-hour search and rescue right around the the clock.

Our fundraising has suffered greatly over the past 12 months, so today we are launching not our lifeboats, but our JustGiving campaign to ask if you could support your local station by donating what you can.

Your kind donations will help keep our station running, maintained and always ready to launch into the rough seas to try to save lives.

On behalf of all the crew members in Clacton-on-Sea, we thank you for any support you can provide.
