Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Just giving page.

Well had 2020 not mapped out the way it had, The Glitter Girls (aka The Two Claire’s) would have been taking on a new challenge in Thailand cycling for Women v Cancer. Raising much needed funds and awareness for:

Breast Cancer Now (prev Breast Cancer Care)

Ovarian Cancer Action

Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust..

As it happens, Covid put pain to those plans, but fear not!....... we will never give up fundraising for these three vitally important charities, so we have refocused on Sept 2022, when we will be stocking up on chamois cream and hitting the saddle once again.

Looking at the itinerary, this is going to be a tough challenge with some long, steep climbs and some rough terrain, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thank you to each and every one of you that has supported our fundraising efforts so far, be that through donations of time, money or ideas.......it really is  hugely appreciated!!
