I have decided that I would like to use my place in the Great North Run to raise money for the charity SANDS.  The Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society is a charity that provides emotional support and information to anyone who has been affected by the death of a baby before, during or shortly after birth.

I have chosen this charity after reading the truly inspirational blog written by my friend Rachel.  Rachel has used her blog to tell her own story of dealing with stillbirth.  I encourage you to please read it for yourselves.
