Statistics tell us that children from 8 – 10 spend nearly 8 hours a day online, with this number increasing to 11 hours by the time they are in their teens. In a survey of over 25,000 children across Europe, the children of Romania were placed in the “high usage, high risk” category of online use.

CEF of Romania has a site especially for children called AMECpeNET and over the past number of months has created a number of apps. However, we know that there are still many children who have access to online content but are not using their time wisely.

We want to have an online radio that will give children and young teens the opportunity to listen to quality music, learn from Bible stories and provide options for them to use their time wisely.

We have begun training and received some donations for renovating the studio and office. We still need to buy the equipment.
