Story
I am running a 5k , 20 obstacle spartan race with my amazing team mates at the huddle gym to raise money for Neuroendocrine cancer research. My Dad was diagnosed with a very rare form of aggressive Neuroendocrine Cancer at Easter 2018, though he fought it with all he could we Sadly lost him on Christmas day of that year. My Dad went through an experimental treatment during his Chemotherapy as so little is known of this cancer . He knew it could not save him but agreed to have in in the hope it could help others in the future. Neuroendocrine Cancer UK exists to address the unmet needs voiced by the Neuroendocrine Cancer community, to support patients and their loved ones with the physical and psychological burden of Neuroendocrine cancers.
