On the 9th June 2012 together with a group of good friends we are going to walk and climb the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge which is 25 miles in length and has to be completed in under 12 hours.

We hope to raise money for the John Eastwood Hospice at Mansfield.

The hospice cared for my husband Edward Booth in the last days of his fight against cancer. They showed me and my family kindness and support.

The date of the walk will mark the third anniversary of Edwards death. I would like to give something back to the people who looked after us and show them our appreciation for what they do.

The hospice and their facilities are amazing. This should be available to everybody suffering with a terminal ilness. I would like to think our fundraising would help make this possible.
