On 2nd October 2011 I will be running the Basingstoke Half Marathon in aid of CRY (http://www.c-r-y.org.uk/index.htm) - a charity which raises awareness of and provides screening services to detect rare heart conditions in young people which can cause sudden unexpected death. I have chosen this charity as one of my best friend's, Hayley Crook, was suddenly taken from us last year when she passed away in her sleep of SADS (sudden arrythmic death syndrome). I would so be grateful for any donation in support of this charity so thank you in advance.

The half marathon course is extremely hilly but I am aiming to run it in under 2 hours so hopefully all of the training will pay off!
