Amy & Friends provide support for the health and well being of sufferers of Cockayne Syndrome and their families and carers. We provide an annual members retreat where families spend time in each other's company and meet leading doctors and researchers. We also provide a family support worker.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

l will be walking a 100km continuous walk from Eastbourne to Arundel which includes 2200m of climbing to help raise funds and awareness for the amazing charity Amy and Friends.

Amy and Friends was formed  to support children and families suffering from Cockayne Syndrome.

Cockayne Syndrome is a premature ageing disorder that means the DNA cannot repair itself and therefore leads to a shortened life expectancy (approximately 12 years). There is currently no cure.

I first found out about the charity at another charity event in my local area in support of 2 wonderful children who live in my town that suffer from the rare condition.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
