Story

I wanted to race this season in memory of a truly amazing man who I had the pleasure to know and call a friend. Simon was taken from us in 2015 after losing his fight against cancer (a grade 4 glioblastoma). I would love to raise funds for the charity and support their good work. They really do such an amazing job and the money we raise will most importantly help with research which will help others in the future.

I want to thank Nuffield Health Chester and also all the staff that work there for supporting and sponsoring me during this challenge. The hospital have very kindly provided me with a triathlon suit to wear during my events. Thank you x

My main challenge this year is the Staffordshire Ironman which  is a gruelling race which incorporates a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and a 13.1 mile run. This for me is a huge challenge which I'm hoping to complete in or at least around 6 hours. I will have plenty to motivate me to finish, for instance thinking of Simon and his gorgeous wife and family, but please give me the extra help and motivation by supporting me and sponsoring me and let's help others effected with this disease.

As well as Ironman 70.3 I will also be competing in various triathlons of sprint and Olympic distances, (some of which are Great Britain age group qualifiers!!) a duathlon (run/bike/run) liverpool half marathon, Conwy Gran Fondo 70 mile cycle and The Great Welsh swim in Llanberis which is 3km. This is just the start as I'm sure there will be others!!!

Please give all you can, every penny really does help.

Thank you so much xxxx
