London Bridges Challenge 2014 · 2 November 2014 ·

Diabetes UK is the charity leading the fight against the UK's devastating and fastest growing health crisis, working to create a world where diabetes can do no harm. It’s a fight that involves all of us – sharing knowledge and taking diabetes on together. Join us.

Story

Last year we walked the long route from Chelsea Town Hall to St Katherine’s Dock crossing 12 of London’s iconic bridges along the way, all in memory of our wonderful Fiona.

The walk came just 11 months after her passing and gave us the opportunity to do something positive for others who suffer with this terrible disease. The whole experience was incredibly uplifting allowing us to talk, reflect and draw hope from the incredible life she lead despite the challenges of her condition.

This year we are doing the walk again to raise the profile of diabetes UK and the work they do to help support those people who live with or are effected by the condition.

There is a long way to go in finding a cure for diabetes but with every penny we edge a little closer. So please support us on our walk by donating whatever you can or register and join us on the day at www.diabetes.org.uk/Get_involved/Fundraising-events/bridgeschallenge/
