Parenting Mental Health is an amazing charity that supports parents as they support their children through times of poor mental health.

As a parent of a child with poor mental health you feel alone, you blame yourself, you don't know what to do for the best to help your child and you are exhausted from constantly fighting the (broken!) system to get your child the help they need. The PMH facebook group, courses, listening circles and gratitude posts help you realise that there are other parents fighting those battles too, that you are not alone. 

The pandemic has led to more young people struggling with their mental health, longer waiting lists and more pressure on an already stretched system as well as less funding for charities. 

So... having been lucky enough to get a place for London in the ballot I knew which charity I wanted to fundraise for... even if I have to crawl round I'll make it to the finish line (but hopefully it won't come to that!!) 💜

I'm running for E, K, A, J, S, E, J, P, R, P, E... and so many more young people for whom life is much harder than it should be xx
