Bupa Great South Run 2014 · 26 October 2014 ·

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

My younger brother Matthew was diagnosed with liver cancer when he was a small boy, he went in to remission and lived a healthy, happy life. That was until August 2012 when the cancer returned, Matthew sadly lost his battle and died in his sleep on Easter Monday.

I am running the Portsmouth Great South Run in memory of Matthew, and helping raise funds and awareness for the amazing charity Teenage Cancer Trust, who supported Matthew until the end.

Teenage Cancer Trust are the only charity that provide expert treatment and support for for people aged 13 - 24 in the UK.
