Claire's Visual guide to OfSTED grade descriptors

Claire Holt is raising money for David Nott Foundation

Visual guide to OfSTED grade descriptors · 16 November 2021

The David Nott Foundation trains doctors to deliver safe, skilled surgical care in countries affected by war and catastrophe. Since 2015, our world-class faculty surgeons have trained over 2,800 doctors across 19 countries including Syria, Libya, Ukraine, Palestine and Myanmar.

Story

I am addicted to listening to Desert Island discs and heard David Nott on it back in 2016.  I'd never heard of David before, and I was deeply moved by his story - I cried the first time, and the subsequent 3 more times that I've listened. David is a deeply humble person, doing incredible humanitarian work all over the world in war torn countries, risking his life to save others. If, like me, you believe that the world needs more humanity, then please make a donation, in exchange for my offering to schools.

The David Nott Foundation was established with a simple mission: to provide surgeons & medical professionals working in the most hostile environments with the skills & the confidence to save more lives. At the frontlines of these crises are the doctors & medical professionals who work tirelessly, often against the odds, to help help victims & preserve life. Yet in countries where resources are scarce, and access to equipment and training is limited, these doctors are left to face the most challenging of circumstances, ill-equipped & unsupported.
