Story
Isabel Hospice provides free care in your home, across Living Well community hubs and at their In-Patient Unit. Most patients have cancer, however, they are caring for more people with other life-limiting conditions.Relying heavily on donations from the community. This year the Hospice must raise £6.2 million so that they can continue to care for more people, earlier in their journey.
We are colleagues that work for B3Living, a Hertfordshire Housing Association. Our staff voted to raise money for Isabel Hospice this year and we wanted to take on challenges during lockdown to keep us connected and to kickstart our fundraising activities. Some of us have even roped our families in to help.
We have each picked a different challenge. Some are walking 46 or 22 miles, some are doing the keep up football challenge and others are taking on a Netflix marathon! Someone else is doing the ‘run a marathon again’ challenge. They all need to be done by 2nd December, the date lockdown is expected to end!
All donations to this fantastic cause gratefully received!
