Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK. We love all dogs, and the people who love dogs too. We care for dogs in need through our network of 22 centres across the UK and Ireland, finding them loving new homes. A dog is for Life, not just for Christmas ©

Story

Our beautiful daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend, Claire Irene Anderson, died unexpectedly on Wednesday 20 February 2013, aged just 26.

Instead of cards or flowers, Claire's family invite friends and relatives to donate money to selected charities, in her memory.

Shortly before her death, Claire had registered to volunteer at The Dog's Trust in West Lothian. This page has been set up to receive donations to this charity, as she was very excited about supporting their work.

Claire's memorial ceremony took place on Wednesday 13 March at the Livingston Crematorium.

If you would like to setup a page to raise money for a different charity in Claire's name, then we would welcome donations to Cat Protection - another charity close to Claire's heart - or to the Sick Kid's Hospital in Edinburgh. You can donate to these charities in Claire's memory by visiting 'Remembering Claire Anderson' and clicking on the 'make a page for Claire' button.
