Brake is a national road safety charity that cares for road victims and campaigns for safer roads for all. Brake's National Road Victim Service is a specialist support service to help families cope with the shock, turmoil and devastation that road crashes cause families across the UK every day.

Story

Peter and I are running our first ever 10k this year to support to one of my oldest and dearest friends Ainsley, and her amazing sister Ashley and her family.

Last October Ashley and her two gorgeous girls cheered on her husband Denis as he ran what was to be his last 10k. Sadly one week later Denis was involved in a tragic road accident and lost his life.  Denis was a wonderful man who was held in very high regards by all who were lucky enough to know him.

This year we will run the 10k in memory of Denis and as a show of support to Ashley and her family, with all funds raised going directly to the road accident charity Brake.

Thank you so much for your support, it will go to an excellent cause and is greatly appreciated.
