Story
Hello,
As you know cancer has such a far reaching effect on people and this year more than ever I feel compelled to complete the Race for Life.
I beat skin cancer nearly 4 years ago and feel blessed that I received fantastic treatment and care. I was one of the lucky ones and never take it for granted.
Just a short while ago my brother-in-law (to be) was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme (to you and I a brain tumour). Sadly his prognosis is not as good. Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most deadliest of malignany primary brain tumours in adults. Lee will receive treatment over the coming weeks to slow down the tumour and we'll all be there to support him.
We have also had another shock recently, which many of you know about. We remain positive though and will keep you posted on progress.
Bottom line is Cancer Research needs every penny they can get to continue to research cancer treatments. I personally can't think of a more worthy cause.
So, as Lynette, Nicky, Louise and our kids get ready to walk/waddle the Race for Life, support us by donating as much as you are able to. Every penny really does count.
Thank you.
