Alzheimer's Society - Memory Walk Surrey · 18 September 2011 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I decided to do the Memory Walk for the Alzheimers Society this year as it is an illness that has affected my family too much. My Nan, Ellen, is living with Alzheimers, as did my Grandad, Stan, who passed away 3 1/2 years ago. It is such a cruel illness, but one that recieves precious little funding and research. I would love to be able to raise some money to help new projects supporting people with Alzheimers and their families. So please donate, every bit counts.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
